International Association of Art (IAA)
The International Association of Art, IAA/AIAP, is a non-governmental organization working in partnership with Unesco, having consultative status. It comprises artists working in the fields painting, sculpture and printmaking or practising other forms of creative work in the visual arts. The objectives of the association are to stimulate international cooperation among artists of all countries, nations or peoples, and to improve the economic and social position of artists at national and international level, as well as to defend their material and moral rights.
European Council of Artists (ECA)
The European Council of Artists (ECA) promotes cooperation between artists by safeguarding their political and cultural position within Europe. It focuses on the policies of the European Union, the Council of Europe, UNESCO and other relevant organisations and on promoting the interests of professional artists in political, economic, judicial and social contexts.
Culture Action Europe
Culture Action Europe is the biggest umbrella organisation representing the cultural sector at European level.
The European League of Institutes of the Arts (ELIA)
The European League of Institutes of the Arts (ELIA) is an independent network organisation for higher arts education. With more than 300 members in 47 countries, it represents about 300 000 students of all art disciplines. ELIA advocates for the arts on the European level, creating new opportunities for its members and facilitating the exchange of best practices.
European Media Art Network (EMAN)
The basic purpose of the European Media Art Network (EMAN) is to enable European artists to collaborate on projects and to create closer bonds between European media organisations.
European Visual Artists (EVA)
European Visual Artists (EVA) represents the interests of collecting societies for the visual arts. 24 European collecting societies are gathered under this roof as members or observers. They manage collectively authors' rights of about 100 000 creators of works of fine art, illustration, photography, design, architecture and other visual works.
International Association of Art Critics (AICA)
The International Association of Art Critics (AICA = Association Internationale des Critiques d’Art) is an international, non-governmental association of art critics, whose professional activity is criticism in all media, teaching, and curating exhibitions. It promotes understanding and critical interpretation of the visual arts.
Res Artis is the worldwide professional body for artist residencies, ensuring sustainability and development of the field through enabling connection and facilitating professional development for its member organisations.
The Sculpture Network is a European platform for three-dimensional art. As a non-profit organisation it supports, encourages and promots contemporary sculpture.
